Replacing missing teeth
Dental implants
People who are missing a tooth or several teeth often find that simple activities such as eating, speaking or even smiling become stressful and sometimes painful. Dental implants have the functionality of natural teeth, and they look and feel like them too.
An implant is an artificial root, usually made from titanium, placed into the jawbone during a surgical procedure so that it can hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Titanium is biocompatible, which means it bonds with your natural bone.
Placement of the implant is normally followed by a healing period of 8 to 12 weeks, determined by the complexity of the case. A temporary restoration can be used while you heal, and your permanent ceramic crown, bridge or denture is made afterwards.

Depending on the treatment required, costs will vary but be very competitive. We believe everybody deserves a great smile, which is why we offer a full range of payment plans and finance, subject to age, status and affordability. Minimum spend applies.
The Hygiene Lounge
Oral hygiene, more than a clean.
Our role is to improve your general health and establish oral health habits, advising and educating you on how to adapt your routine to maintain optimal oral health.
We carry out a full oral health assessment, a thorough examination of the gums, and we check the health of your implants and surrounding soft tissues. We look for any abnormalities that may be present and discuss anything we see that should be of concern. We also carry out professional removal of plaque build up, calculus and polish stains.
Smile Maintenance Hygiene Therapy
Recommended for patients with minimal or no signs of gum disease, for superior tartar and stain removal.
Guided Biofilm Therapy with EMS original Airflow
This innovative treatment uses a precise airflow system to effectively remove biofilm and enhance oral hygiene, proving superior to traditional methods by ensuring a more thorough and comfortable cleaning experience.
Active Periodontal Therapy
Essential for patients with signs of periodontal (gum) disease. The number of sessions required is based on the severity of your individual condition.
Signs of gum disease to look out for
Bleeding gums (healthy gums do not bleed), swollen and tender gums, bad breath, receding gums, tooth loss, sensitivity, lengthening of the teeth, loose teeth and gum abscesses. Gum disease is completely treatable if it is diagnosed early enough.
NHS dentistry
We welcome new NHS patients. To become an NHS patient you first need to register with a dentist, and you can only be registered as an NHS patient after your initial check up with one of our dentists.
At that first appointment we will ask whether you have any health problems, examine your mouth, teeth and gums, tell you how to keep them healthy, explain your treatment options and costs, and agree a treatment plan with you.
Most adults over 18 pay towards NHS treatment. Treatment is free for patients under 19 in full time education, patients who are pregnant, and those who have given birth in the last 12 months. NHS check ups are free.
What is not available on the NHS
Some treatments are only available privately. These include:
- White fillings on the biting surfaces of back teeth (NHS fillings for back teeth are grey amalgam, which contains mercury)
- Dental implants, in most cases
- Teeth whitening
- Metal free crowns
- Laser dentistry
- Clear aligners for teeth straightening
